FTS, Inc. offers a variety of engineering support services for air vehicle, systems, prototyping, and testing. We can help define or capture concept systems using modern design tools, model their performance characteristics, design their control systems, and evaluate the end to end system in a high fidelity 6-DOF simulation. FTS Inc provides engineering support to customers for air vehicle and avionics development and test. Our hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) provides an end-to-end test capability for prototype air vehicles. We have reconfigurable flight systems which become the basis for the real prototype flight test articles. FTS can generate statistics for a given vehicle design in the presence of varying environments, errors, or anomalies and then evaluate design robustness.

FTS will have a prototype system development lab facility housed in a 10,000 sq. ft. hangar space on a 5000 ft. runway with metal aircraft structure fabrication capability, composite aircraft assembly, avionics assembly and test capabilities. We have data link capabilities, GPS base stations, and re-radiation systems in place. FTS has a ground test support vehicle with data link capability, GPS base station, avionics tray, and user data terminals. FTS has various air vehicle mechanical support systems for testing, ground handling, mass properties measurement, and transport. FTS has a programmable missile checkout unit that can be a air launched vehicle stores management system, a ground launched vehicle fire control system, or a laboratory sim-flight test system. We also have an engine test stand with safety, control, and instrumentation systems.
